Privacy policy
Last updated: October 25, 2026. EventFerry ("we", "us") provides a service that copies events from your Outlook calendar into a Google calendar. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. Questions: support@eventferry.app.
What we collect
- Account details: your email address and a sign-in credential, handled by our authentication system. We never see your password in readable form.
- Calendar connection details: the private Outlook calendar link you give us, and the permission token Google issues when you connect. Both are stored encrypted and are never shown back to you or to anyone else.
- Calendar events: the details of your Outlook events (such as title, time, location, description and reminders) are read from your calendar link and written to the Google calendar we create for you. They pass through our servers while the sync runs. We do not keep them in our database or use them for anything else.
- Plan and billing details: your plan status, trial and renewal dates, and a customer reference from our payment provider. Card numbers are collected and stored by Stripe, never by us.
- Sync status: when your last sync ran, whether it worked, and counts of events created, updated or removed.
- Technical logs: short-lived operational records used to run and secure the service, kept for up to 30 days.
This website uses no advertising or analytics trackers. The sign-in area uses only the cookies it needs to keep you signed in securely.
How we use your information
We use it only to run the sync you asked for, create and maintain your account, take payment, keep the service secure, and reply to your messages. We do not sell your personal information, share it for advertising, or use it for marketing profiles.
Google user data
EventFerry's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
- What we request: a single Google Calendar permission that lets EventFerry create its own secondary calendar and manage the events inside it. We cannot see or change your other calendars or their events.
- What we do with it: we use this access only to write your Outlook events into that calendar and keep them up to date. We do not use it for advertising.
- What we don't do: we do not sell Google user data, we do not transfer it to others except as needed to provide the service or as required by law, we do not allow people to read it except where needed for security, support you have asked for, or legal reasons, and we do not use it to develop, improve or train generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models.
Who else handles your data
- Amazon Web Services hosts the service and stores encrypted account data in the United States.
- Stripe processes payments.
- Google and Microsoft hold the calendars you connect, under their own policies.
These providers act on our behalf and may only use your data to provide their service to us.
How long we keep it
- Account and connection data: until you delete your account.
- Technical logs: up to 30 days.
- Payment records: Stripe and tax law may require us to keep invoices and transaction records after your account is gone.
- Free-trial protection: after you delete your account, we keep one-way fingerprints (irreversible codes) of your email address and Outlook calendar for up to two years, solely so a free trial cannot be repeated. They cannot be turned back into the original values.
Deleting your data and withdrawing access
- Delete your account in the app at any time. This cancels any subscription, deletes the Google calendar we created, revokes our Google access, and deletes your stored data.
- Revoke Google access yourself at any time in your Google Account's third-party access settings.
- Stop sharing your Outlook calendar by unpublishing the link in Outlook. We lose access immediately.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, secrets are stored in a separate encrypted store, and access is limited to what the service needs. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise absolute protection, but we work to protect your information and will tell you about a breach where the law requires.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, the UK GDPR, or California law), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal information, to object to or restrict certain uses, and to complain to your local data protection authority. We do not sell or share personal information as defined by California law. To use any right, contact support@eventferry.app. We will respond within the time the law requires. If you are in the European Economic Area or UK, we process your data to perform our contract with you and for our legitimate interests in running and securing the service.
International transfers
Our service runs in the United States. If you use it from elsewhere, your information is transferred to and processed there.
Children
EventFerry is for adults. It is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes we will update the date above and, where appropriate, tell you by email or in the app.
