EventFerry

Terms of service

Last updated: October 25, 2026. These terms are an agreement between you and EventFerry ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use EventFerry.

The service

EventFerry copies events from an Outlook calendar you publish into a Google calendar that it creates in your Google account, and keeps them up to date. Sync runs in one direction, from Outlook to Google, and normally every 15 minutes.

Who can use it

You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding contract. You must have the right to share any calendar you connect. If the calendar belongs to your employer or another organization, you are responsible for following their policies and for having permission to copy its events.

Your account

Keep your sign-in details secure and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for activity on your account. You can delete your account at any time from the app.

Acceptable use

Do not use EventFerry to break the law, to copy calendars you have no right to access, to interfere with or overload the service, to probe or bypass its security, or to resell it without our written permission. We may suspend or end accounts that do.

Third-party services

EventFerry depends on Microsoft, Google, Stripe and Amazon Web Services. Your use of Google and Outlook remains subject to their own terms. Their outages, rate limits or changes can interrupt or break syncing, and we are not responsible for them. Our privacy policy explains how we handle your data.

Availability and your responsibility

We work to keep EventFerry running and accurate, but we cannot promise it will always be available, error-free, or that every event will appear on time. Do not rely on it as the only record of appointments where a missed or late event could cause serious harm. Check your original calendar for anything critical.

Ownership

You keep all rights to your calendar data. You give us permission to read, copy and write it solely to provide the service to you. EventFerry's software, name and logo belong to us, and these terms give you only the right to use the service.

Ending the service

You may stop using EventFerry and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or if we stop offering the service, and in the second case we will give notice and refund any prepaid period.

Disclaimer

EventFerry is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

Limit of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or losses from missed or incorrect calendar events. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US$50. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Disputes and governing law

Please contact us first and we will try to resolve any problem informally. These terms are governed by the laws of the place where EventFerry's operator is based, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and any dispute will be heard in the courts of that place, unless the law in your country gives you a mandatory right to bring a claim elsewhere.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change is material we will tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use EventFerry after that means you accept the new terms.
