About EventFerry
EventFerry is a focused software service that keeps events from a published Outlook calendar current in a dedicated Google Calendar.
Why EventFerry exists
Outlook and Google Calendar can exchange published calendar data through ICS, but a normal Google subscription may update slowly and offers little visibility when a link stops working. EventFerry reads the Outlook ICS feed every 15 minutes, writes those events to a dedicated Google calendar, provides a manual Sync now option, and reports connection problems.
The service uses a published calendar link and Google authorization. It does not ask for your Microsoft password, and it does not modify events in your personal Google calendars.
Who maintains the product and guidance
The people who build and operate EventFerry write and review its setup and troubleshooting guides. We focus the documentation on specific Outlook-to-Google problems, cite first-party Microsoft and Google documentation for third-party behavior, and update pages when the product or documented platform behavior changes.
How we review calendar guidance
- Primary sources: instructions about Outlook and Google Calendar link to official Microsoft or Google support documentation.
- Product checks: automated release tests cover EventFerry's calendar parsing, synchronization behavior, website links, metadata, and structured data.
- Production checks: after a website release, we verify that the public pages, sitemap, and search-engine notification endpoint respond successfully.
- Clear attribution: documented behavior from Microsoft or Google is identified as such instead of being presented as an EventFerry measurement.
What EventFerry does not do
- It is a one-way Outlook-to-Google sync, not a two-way calendar editor.
- It cannot bypass an employer's Microsoft 365 external-sharing restrictions.
- It cannot force Google's native ICS subscription to refresh; EventFerry maintains its own dedicated Google calendar instead.
- It is not affiliated with Microsoft or Google.
Questions or corrections?
If a guide no longer matches the current Outlook or Google Calendar interface, or you find a claim that needs correction, contact EventFerry. We want the troubleshooting content to be accurate and useful.
